A client is always adviced to do some research before visiting our store, on what they would like to make. A client does not need to have the exact idea of what they are thinking of making. The amazing aspect of making customised jewellery is that a client can chose the height, the width, the amount of detail, the colours etc of the item. The ideas for a customized jewellery piece can come from varies samples.
Once a client has an idea of what they would like, the client can make an appointment to see Rean and Marie. Rean is the jeweller and Marie is the CAD designer. An appointment can be made on on our website or via telephone, 051 444 3449.
A client who would like to use old gold or had items already, e.g a diamond, should bring these items along to the appointment. At the mmeting with Rean and Marie, they will get to know the clients taste and recommend what will work for the client. Here they will also give there expert advice on the designs and a quotation for the dream customised item.
If the client is happy to continue with the process a 50% deposit will need to be paid. Marie will then design a 3D design of the item. On completion of the design Marie will contact the client. The client can chose to look in the comfort of their own home or to have a one on one with Marie to discuss the design in detail. Once the design has been approved, a frinal quotation will be given and the design will be casted. Clients will be notified telephocally or via SMS that there items are ready for collection. Competed items come with valuations. On collection of the item, the outstanding amount will need to be made either in store or via EFT.
The entire process can take anything from 4 - 8 weeks.
We charge per line. It is R65.00 for the first line per area and R10.00 for every line underneath. Some items do not allow space for more than two lines in one area, meaning that the item will need to be engraved in two seperate areas.
A new area is determined if the engraving machine has to be reset, meaning that the machine has to lift and move before it can engrave again.
For example if a client would like to engrave on the back of a watch and the watch has no detail:
Yvonne
25/07/2018
This will be R75.00
If the watch has detail at the back and we need to engrave above or below or above and below the watch it is R65.00 per area then, as we need to reset the machine each time.
Yvonne
"DETAIL"
25/07/2018
This will be R130.00
If a client is urgent for an engraving there is a same day fee of R45.00
If a client or company would like to engrave there logo on items. There is a ONCE-OFF logo redraw fee of R150.00.
Please not these prices differ for jewellery pieces as they are more intricate to engrave.

Yes we do. Valuations take between 2 - 3 working days, as the item first needs to be cleaned before we can do a valuation. Items that are not cleaned before valutions cannot give a true indication of the item.
For one item to be vaulated costs R150.00 and R50.00 for every item thereafter.
If clients have old valutions we recommend to bring those along as the jeweller who sold or made the item knows exactly what is in the item. Diamonds or semi-precious stones aren't clear to determine there colour and clarity once they have been set in an item.
Valutions are only valid for two years and is recommended to keep it updated due to the annual increase of gold and diamonds.
Yes we do but only from the ages of three years and above. We unfortuntely do not pierce younger than three years as their ear lobes are still developing and should we pierce younger than three years old, there is a risk that the ear holes will not be perfectly aligned as the child grows older.
We charge R200.00 for piercings which includes a pair of specific earrings. Due to the piercing guns we use, they can only fit speoific earrings. There is a small varity of earing that a client cna select from.
